13-Year-Old Girl Charged with Brutal Stabbing of Her 19-Year-Old Neighbor.

Police in Harris County, Texas were called to an apartment complex on Aldine Mail Route Road near I-69 inside Beltway 8 for a disturbance. When they got there, they found one man stabbed and a child as the accused.

Early reports say that there was an argument at the residence when a 13-year-old girl allegedly stabbed the unidentified victim. The victim, a 19-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital where is is currenlty listed in stable condition.

The girl was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was booked in the Harris County Juvenile Probation Center.

The girl's mom, Estela Martinez, 43, was charged with tampering with evidence and booked in the Harris County Jail.

There is no word on the relation between the girl and the victim and there also are no details on why the girl's mother is facing charges.

Neighbors in the area are dumbfounded and can't even imagine what could have led this child to commit such a crime.
