I'm late cuz y'all aren't good friends!

So. . . when were y'all gon' tell me I should have BEEN watching "Power"? I mean, I've heard about it but nobody told me that this show IS LIFE EVERLASTING!

Let's back up a bit so I can totally come clean here. Picture it, Mother's Day weekend and my only child is out of state and not coming home for the holiday. I woke up at 5am because my internal clock has jokes and thinks it's funny to wake up before the sun on my day off. Real cute Jesus. I was browsing the internet like we all do, before we get out of bed and truly become "woke" for the day, when I saw the season 4 trailer for "Power". I scrolled past it and didn't watch but, I thought to myself "'Underground' and 'Greenleaf' are both on hiatus, what am I going to watch and recap until they come back?" So, I decided to find the past seasons of "Power" and binge watch them. LISTEN, when I tell you episode one of season one had me hooked! Straight addicted!

I hopped on over to Facebook and posted that I was watching and out of the woodwork here comes a ton of my friends like "where you been?" "that show is mad good!" and I was thinking to myself "where were all of you three seasons ago?"

Now don't get me wrong, not all of my friends were as up to speed as the majority. There were still some that were just as in the dark as I was.

Needless to say, I'm going to be recapping "Power" when the new season starts and I just may do a Seasons 1-3 rundown before we get into season 4 (y'all let me know if you want me to or not). I'm blaming everyone for not telling me about this goodness years ago. I'm blaming Obama for watching it in private and keeping it as his own guilty pleasure (I totally just made that up), I'm blaming #45 because he's the *cough* leader *cough* of this country when I discovered this hidden treasure and I'm blaming every single one of you who come here and listen to me dish about other series and never told me to set my plate out for this one too! I thought we are friends and good friends don't let friends miss this kind of deliciousness! Everyone is blamed! I should really be blaming myself for giving birth to the kid that didn't come home for Mother's Day and leaving me to my own devices when I should be getting treated to breakfast in bed.

Either way, I need to finish watching and salivating over Ghost so I gotta go! Catch me in the comments!
