Jennifer Hudson Drops Restraining Order but Loses Custody!

A few weeks ago we reported that Jennifer Hudson and her long time fiancé, David Otunga, had finally split. When the news first broke, Hudson had also filed a restraining order against Otunga and was fighting for sole custody of their son.

Sources tell TMZ "Jennifer Hudson and David reached a temporary custody agreement which gives him custody of 8-year-old David Jr. the majority of the time. Jennifer is currently in London shooting 'The Voice UK' and she's committed to significant travel to Los Angeles to do 'The Voice.'"

Ms. Hudson also voluntarily dropped her restraining order that prevented David Sr. from seeing their son. The preliminary order is in place until a formal custody order can be determined. Up until now, David Sr. has been the primary caretaker for their son because of Hudson's rigorous touring and filming schedule. As it seems, he'll be taking care of David Jr. at his own crib because sources tell us that he won't be moving back into Jennifer's pad.
