The music world has missed the sultry sound of Sade and if there was anyone who could bring her back to the airwaves, we knew it would have to be someone who possessed a certain magic. #BlackGirlMagic. Enter Ava Duvernay, famed director of "Selma" and "Queen Sugar", who made a simple request and got the gift we'd all been waiting for. A new song from Sade!

Duvernay broke the news on February 20, 2018 when she tweeted her excitement saying:

"I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled “Flower of the Universe.” And it’s a dream come true."

Last night, she let us all know that the song was available for our listening pleasure.
