"Us" Movie Release Date Gets Pushed Back.
Jordan Peele is preparing to shock viewers again with his newest thriller "Us". "Us" has been promising to show theater-goers why "we are our own worst enemy" but, we will have to wait a little longer to see it. According to Variety the film is being pushed back to "create more buzz' by premiering at the South by Southwest festival.
"'Us,' which follows a family confronted by a group of doppelgängers, stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss. Nyong’o and Duke play a couple who are taking their children (Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex) to their beach house along the Northern California coastline. Nyong’o’s character is haunted by an unexplainable and unresolved trauma from her past."
