"A Bay Bay" Rapper Hurricane Chris Arrested for Murder!
It's a sad day in the music industry for fans of "A Bay Bay" rapper Hurricane Chris. It seems as if the rapper has traded his beaded braids for bullets and banging as he's been implicated in a murder that took place last night.
According to TMZ, Hurricane Chris, whose real name is Christopher Dooley, Jr., was arrested and booked for second-degree murder after cops say he shot and killed a man early Friday morning at a Texaco gas station in Shreveport, Louisiana ... according to the Shreveport PD.
Cops say Chris initially told them there was an alleged struggle over his car, so he shot the man multiple times in self-defense. But, cops say surveillance footage painted a much different picture ... resulting in Chris' arrest for second-degree murder.
Chris also gained a stolen property charge because, as it turns out, the vehicle he was riding in had been reported stolen from a town in Texas.
Hurricane Chris rose to fame in 2007 at the age of 18 when he released his "summer single" "A Bay Bay" that had dudes hanging out of car windows and shouting the phrase at women who walked by.
