"Clueless" Comedy Reboot, Centering Around Dionne, Lands on PeacockTV!

If you were an angsty teen in the 90's then there's a good chance you saw the movie "Clueless". The 1995 teen pop culture film starred Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, and Brittany Murphy. Cher, the main character played by Silverstone, was the epitome of spoiled and ran with her equally spoiled gal pals Dionne, played by Dash. Those two set out to make-over Brittany Murphy's homely character to have her fit in with their style. Honestly, they really could have left the girl alone instead of trying to colonize her but, we digress, the movie was a hit at the time and fans have been waiting for a reboot!

It looks like they're getting one soon!

Variety exclusive reports that "the untitled comedy series is described a baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sun-glasses wearing, oat milk latte and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong number two Dionne steps into Cher’s vacant Air Jordans. How does Dionne deal with the pressures of being the new most popular girl in school, while also unraveling the mystery of what happened to her best friend?"

This description is pretty vague and, to be honest, we expected it to be. The reboot is in it's very early stages and there's no word yet if the Stacey Dash will step into her old Mary Jane's and play Dionne once again.

The "Clueless" reboot currently doesn't have an official name but it will be streaming on NBC's new PeacockTV service. The newly launched service is free-ish. It features an upgraded, commercial free, version for $9.99 per month.

We've got so many streaming services we've been wondering whether or not to add this one to the list. Do you have Peacock TV? Is it worth it? Sound off in the comments below!
