BET+ Gives Release Date and Series Details for Season Five of Carl Weber's "Family Business".

If you've been following Carl Weber's fictional Duncan family on BET+ then you've been anxiously awaiting the release of the show's fifth season. If you're not familiar, you've got time to catch up! "The Family Business" follows the Duncans, an upstanding family that owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. It stars Ernie Hudson and Valarie Pettiford, as LC and Charlotte "Chippy" Duncan, heads of the most powerful family in New York. Everything looks squeaky clean on the surface but. . . there's definitely something foul underneath!

Season 5 returns to a civil war between LC Duncan and clan and their biggest enemy to date...one of his own sons.

The family ties that bind the Duncans have reached the breaking point as the family faces secrets from the past that threaten everything they’ve built. But this time, their enemies are coming from the inside of the family, and they have no one to blame but themselves. As LC, Chippy, and the entire Duncan clan welcome their son, Vegas (played by Michael Jai White) home, they are disheartened by Junior (Sean Ringgold) leaving the family. As LC does whatever it takes to protect Vegas, allies become enemies who devise a plan to overtake The Table. A thief in the night proves to be more than just a random robber, and he leads Rio (Arrington Foster) on a hunt that will change the Duncan family forever. Meanwhile, Paris’s (Javicia Leslie) ex, Niles Monroe, reappears unexpectedly with a warning of sweet revenge.

The ten-episode season premieres with two episodes at launch on July 4th, followed by a new episode, every Thursday, with the finale on August 29, 2024.
