DC Police Detective and Wife Dead in Twisted Murder/Suicide.
A Washington D.C. police detective and his wife were found dead Friday night. Reports say that "on November 27 at 6 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Marylea Court in Waldorf for the report of two people found deceased inside their home. A preliminary investigation revealed a family member had been trying to contact his daughter throughout the day and when he did not hear from her or her husband, he went to their house and found them deceased. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded and recovered evidence indicating Christina Lynn Francis, 41, shot her husband, Timothy Eugene Francis, 50, and then herself."
According to the DC Police Department, Timothy Francis had been on the police force for 20 years.
At this time, there is no known motive for the murder-suicide but, shortly before the deaths, Christina Francis made a post to social media saying how they'd be "together" and getting "lost in petty sh*t".
Because of the amount of typos, some believe that Christina Francis may have been overly emotional and typing in a hurry or that she was intoxicated at the time of her post.
Our hearts go out to their family and their loved ones.
