Georgia Firefighters Found Dead in Tennessee from Apparent Murder-Suicide. "I'm Sorry to Whoever Found Us" Note Left Behind.

Two Georgia Firefighters who were reported missing back in June and discovered dead July 1st have had their causes of death released.

Tenessee officials say that Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander were last seen together on June 25th in Savannah, Georgia. The two, who were previously romantically involved, worked together at Liberty County Fire Services in Hinesville. Anderson and Kuhbander, both 24, were in a relationship for seven years before calling it quits in 2023.

According to Newsweek, on June 22, Kuhbander was on a date at Olive Garden in Pooler when Anderson showed up Kuhbander told officials that Anderson made false statements about his date until she felt "uncomfortable" and left the restaurant.

Anderson and Kuhbander later started arguing in the parking lot. Anderson allegedly keyed his car, broke the gas cap and tore the rear windshield wiper off.

She claimed that Kuhbander had said "hurtful" things to her, and she was upset that he was moving on. Anderson was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

Still unable to let things go, Anderson, who was called "unstable" by law enforcement, kidnapped Kuhbander on June 24, and forced him to go with her. Police asked area residents to keep an eye out for Anderson's 2017 black Ford Focus.

The car was found parked in the woods of a private property. Kuhbander was in the passenger seat and Anderson was sitting on top of him.

Their IDs were found in the car, along with a suicide note written by Anderson dated June 25.

"I'm sorry to whoever found us. I am sorry to everyone I hurt," the letter read.

She also left contact information for her grandmother and a message.

"Tell her how sorry I am. I love you Nanna. I want her to inherit everything," Anderson wrote.

The Cocke County Medical Examiner determined Anderson fatally shot and killed Kuhbander. Anderson's cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. A deformed bullet and bullet fragments were recovered from Anderson's scalp.

We're extending our prayers to all of the families involved.
