Get the Coins Sis!! Mo'Nique, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Andra Day Star in New Netflix Horror Film "The Deliverance".
When Mo'Nique said she was coming for everything she meant that thing! The once "black balled" comedian/actress has been back on the scene and dropping great projects ever since she got her apology. If you're not sure what we're talking about, you can take a second to look at the video below.
Lee Daniels apologized for his part in a fued between himself, Mo'Nique, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey that left Mo'Nique feeling ostracized and alone. That fued created a wave of events that left the comedian and actress unable to book certain jobs and ultimately had her losing money!
Since this apology, Daniels has made good on his word to make sure she gets back everything she's lost. He started with his 2023 film "The Reading" and how he's back with "The Deliverance".
Check out the new film's synopsis:
Ebony Jackson, a struggling single mother fighting her personal demons, moves her family into a new home for a fresh start. But when strange occurrences inside the home raise the suspicions of Child Protective Services and threaten to tear the family apart, Ebony soon finds herself locked in a battle for her life and the souls of her children. Inspired by a true story, THE DELIVERANCE is directed by Academy Award nominee Lee Daniels and stars Andra Day, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Mo’Nique in a genre-defying take on darkness, possession, and finding a higher power.
"The Deliverance" will stream on Netflix begining August 30, 2024! We love to see unity like this!
