Gospel Singer Kierra Sheard Marries Her Love, Jordan Kelly, in a Perfect Pandemic Production!

The Princess of Gospel music is now a married woman! Singer and actress Kierra Sheard announced today that she and her fiance Jordan Kelly opted for a "Just Until" wedding six months after he proposed.

If you recall, Jordan sent Kierra on a "scavenger hunt" style birthday caravan until she arrived at her family's home where he popped the question in front of her parents, her grandfather, his mother and a few other family members and friends.

Sheard was able to capture the event on video and shared it to her personal YouTube channel.

Kierra mentioned several times, on previous vlogs, that she and Jordan were tossing around the idea of "just getting married now" instead of waiting until the pandemic was over. With the way the country is set up, we didn't blame them for thinking this way. Large gatherings have been banned throughout the country and Kierra's mother, Dr. Karen Clark-Sheard (one fourth of The Legendary Clark Sisters), admitted that the guest list could reach the "thousands".

Waiting until it was clear to have a big wedding was the right thing to do considering the Sheards knew first hand how devastating the COVID-19 virus could be. Bishop J. Drew Sheard, Kierra's father, lost his mother earlier this year to the virus that also hit his father pretty hard as well. Bishop John Sheard, his father, was able to make a full recovery.

Sheard announced their marriage with on Instagram with photos of them dressed in beautiful attire and the caption "I love you @mrjordankelly. I’m so excited and honored to be your wife. The couple had made the decision to get married privately and uneventfully "in hoodies and boots" but, with some family persuasion, they made the choice to get dolled up and do it right. Sheard jokingly told fans that she WASN'T PREGNANT but just didn't want to wait to start her new life as a married woman.
