Michelle Williams' "Checking In" Chats Reunites Destiny's Child for Girlfriends Mental Health Chat!
When Michelle Williams dropped her book "Checking In" we all thought the singer was just going to give us a glimpse into what coping mechanisms she used to stay strong in the tough entertainment industry. We weren't expecting for her to go on a virtual book tour that not only included mental health experts and social media influencers but, her old bandmates as well!
Williams' virtual book tour is underway and off to an amazing start. The "Michelle Williams Checking In Book Tour" is a series of conversations between Williams entertainment royalty like Taraji P. Henson, Mrs. Tina Lawson, Chloe Bailey, DeVon Franklin, Tamar Braxton, Lecrae, Tabitha Brown, Dr. Anita Phillips, Chandler Moore, LeToya Luckett, Dr. Caroline Leaf, and Darrel Walls. The tour never disclosed the hidden treasure that 41-year-old Williams had up her sleeve. A group chat, podcast style, with her bandmates from Destiny's Child.
Last night, Williams dropped several snippets from the girls chat and it nearly broke the internet! In the clips Michelle, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles-Carter talk about their lives, how it's important to check in with each other and their wonderful friendship.
In another segment, Williams mentions Rowland making soup during the call and asks Beyonce if she's cooking music to which she replies "I'm cooking some music".
Listen in to more of their conversation below.
The "Michelle Williams Checking In Book Tour" is billed as six conversations with 12 different guests all for one price. General Admission is $39 and there's an upgraded VIP Package, with a meet and greet and autographed copy of "Checking In", available for $59.
In these times, it's important that we start "Checking In" more with those we love. Good job Michelle!
