Michigan Man Breaks into Neighbors House, Climbs in Bed with Her and Assaulted Her While She Slept!
A Bloomfield Township, Michigan woman woke up last Thursday to the shock of her life. Her male neighbor had broken into her house and was in her bedroom!
Police were called to the Fox Hills Drive condo community around 11pm for a disturbance. When they arrived they found a frantic woman in her home who gave them a frightening account on what she woke up to.
According to ClickOnDetroit, the woman said she woke up to her neighbor, Maher Haddad, standing over her in bed. Haddad lives in a next-door condominium building, she said.
When the woman yelled for Haddad to leave, he laid down in her bed and started kissing her neck and touching her inappropriately, according to authorities.
She said she was eventually able to lead Haddad toward the front door and force him out.
Officers found Haddad at his home and took him into custody. He is charged with first-degree home invasion and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
There has been no word on whether the two have had any past interactions or the state of Haddad's mental health. What we will say is, THIS IS SCARY! No one wants to wake up to someone standing over them, whether it's a friend or foe!
Haddad was arraigned in court the next day and given a $100,000 bond, or 10%, cash/surety. He is being held at the Oakland County Jail.
