Real Crime Scene Investigators Examine the Tragic Death of Rising Rap Superstar XXXTENTACION, on “THE REAL CSI: MIAMI”.
On June 18, 2018, Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, known professionally as rapper XXXTentacion, was driving his car. He was momentarily stopped in traffic when he was approached by two men who jumped out of the passenger side of a black vehicle, ran to Onfroy's car window and demanded the rapper's chain. That robbery turned deadly when one of the suspects pulled a gun and fired after Onfroy put up a fight. Those shots proved to be fatal.
Onfroy died just days after his debut album reached success and months before the birth of his first child. Four men were arrested and charged with Onfroy's murder and, even though they were found guilty, the public still had more questions than answers. Now, CBS is giving this case a more indepth look with their "Real CSI" series.
