#SmallBusinessSpotlight Perfect for the New Baby Boom "Minnie Tingz" Eco-Friendly Baby Goods!
The quarantine period during the pandemic gave some of us more than just a little "quarantine weight", some of us have welcomed, or are baking, new additions to our families. Millions of families, from Nicki Minaj, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Rowland and half of my friends, welcomed babies during 2020 or are expecting to deliver in the beginning of 2021. With this boom, and all of our need to be more conscious about our environment and bodies, a need was created for a more eco-friendly baby care business. Enter "Minnie Tingz"!
"Minnie Tingz" was created by Olivia Hunter, a resident of Houston, Texas, who merged her love of babies and helping others. When asked how she got the idea for the company Hunter says that "after college, I felt like I needed to do more. At that time, school work was taking most of my time. I asked myself 'Olivia, what do you love? What is something you like to do?' I instantly thought: Well, I love babies! And I like to help people! For a while I still didn't know what I could make of the two. I talked to God about it and and just like that "Minnie Tingz" was made. With this business, I have the pleasure of helping mamas soothe their little ones with our Minnie Soother pacifiers and aid in baby's teething relief with our Minnie Teethers, all while enjoying and loving all things baby!"
"Minnie Tingz" has made it a mission to provide safe, quality & stylish modern goods for your baby's needs and they're all made with 100% medical-grade silicone, non-toxic and BPA, PVC and Phthalates free. They are also CPSIA compliant. That means that they certify that their children's products all comply with all applicable children's product safety rules (or similar rules, bans, standards, or regulations under any law. A bunch of wording to insure you that "Minnie Tingz" really cares about the health and safety of your child AND they're doing it in the most fashionable modern way!
The "Six Feet Please" multi-use cover-up (pictured right) from "Minnie Tingz" offers mothers a stylish way to cover their precious bundle while out in public. It also doubles as a nursing cover-up for mothers who wish to cover themselves while nursing in public. The traditional chevron patterned material is both stylish and breathable and the wrap around design offers more security than simply throwing a blanket over your shoulder. Let me tell you, as a mother who was exposed by her nosy baby in public when she pulled back the blanket to see who I was talking to, if I'd had this cover-up, it would have saved me from some embarrassment.
"Minnie Tingz" officially launched in December of 2020, just before Christmas, and Hunter hopes that in her first year of operation to ship to all 50 states in the US and have the pleasure of working with some big influencers to grow her brand.
